Meanwhile, in America… We find ourselves in a strange contradiction that American culture is hell-bent on the idea that a person's ability to effectively take another life is more important than another person’s pursuit of “life, liberty and happiness”. Promoting the process of iron casting, Anthony’s current works related to ‘guns” tease out thoughts of this nation’s gun heritage. Sculptures and the titles provide a “visual metaphor” that sets the stage for a deeper discussion on guns and gun culture.
